Background
The ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Women’s Network was established in 2018 to offer a space for ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ colleagues who identify as women to debate the current challenges facing women in Further and Higher Education, to hear from internal and external speakers, to support each other’s leadership journeys and to make suggestions on how ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ can champion gender equality.
Since 2020 network engagement has been offered through the yammer . Prior to this colleagues were encouraged to come along to hybrid and online meetings. The network is open to colleagues who identify as women and are employed with ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´, across the academic partners or in HISA roles.
We will be reinvigorating and relaunching the network meetings as outlined below and with the support of ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Aurorans.

From left to right: Zoe McIntosh, Nicola Martin, Katy O’Connor, Clara Hickey, and Catriona Mallows completed the Aurora programme in May and will kickstart the Women’s Network relaunch with an online lunch and learn session on the 25 September.
You can expect lively discussion, active learning and collaborative exploration!
The ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Women’s Network Survey below will help the Aurorans to shape the session so please complete this alongside registering for the session.
Beyond this meeting the 2025-26 Aurorans will organise a further two meetings next academic year.

Women’s Network Survey
The survey is intended to help shape the future of the ÐÓ°ÉÔ´´ Women’s Network and to help tailor the lunch and learning session on the 25 September. If you can’t attend on the 25 September please still as it will give valuable insight into the direction of the network.
