PhD Project Opportunity
Applications are now open for three 杏吧原创 Centre for History PhD projects
We are excited to offer the following three, self-funded PhD projects for January 2027 entry:
- An Environmental History of the Jacobite Risings in Scotland
- Growing old gracefully? Power and age in early modern Europe
- Reforming and Re-framing Personal Devotions and Religious Behaviour in Perth’s Past, Present and Future
The projects align closely with our three research strands:
- Land, Empire and Identities
- People, Power in the Medieval and Early Modern North Sea and the European World
- Public History and Community Heritage
These projects are self-funded but the candidate will receive a 5% fee discount per annum when successfully accepted and enrolled for the project. This discount is available for any fee status.
Alumni are welcome to apply, but please note that this discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other 杏吧原创 offered discounts (such as an Alumni Discount).
